Raposinhos Child Care

Our experienced team of childminders is available to provide professional childcare services. A minimum charge of 2 hours applies to each booking.

  • Maximum of 3 children per childminder
  • Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance through the Kids Club or Resort Reception
  • Cancellations made less than 6 hours before the scheduled service will incur a charge equivalent to 1 hour of childcare

  • The Hotel Policy and Portuguese Law state that no child should be left unattended.
  • The Child Care Service is subject to availability upon request.
  • For each service request, a minimum charge of 2 hours applies.
  • After midnight, an additional charge of €4 per hour will apply.
  • The ratio is 1 childminder per 3 children.
  • For children under 18 months of age, the ratio is 1 childminder per 2 children.
  • Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance via My Martinhal Request.
  • Cancellations free of charge must be communicated at least 6 hours in advance.
  • Cancellations made less than 6 hours in advance are subject to a minimum charge of 1 hour.
  • Childminders are subject to availability. We cannot guarantee the allocation of a childminder according to the requested preference.
  • Payment can be made directly to the childminder or charged to the villa account.
  • If the child has any special needs, please inform the team before the babysitting service begins so that we can provide the best possible service.

During the Service, the Childminder is Authorized To:

Activities

  • Supervise and play with the child.
  • Read books and tell stories.
  • Accompany the child to the resort’s designated play areas, including playgrounds and swimming pools.

Hygiene

  • Assist with hand washing.
  • Change nappies/diapers.
  • Bathe the child.
  • Brush teeth.
  • Change the child’s clothing when required.

Food & Beverage

  • Prepare meals previously agreed with the parent/guardian.
  • Feed meals authorized by the parent/guardian.
  • Order food from the resort’s restaurants.
  • Accompany families to the resort’s restaurants during meal times.

Sleeping

  • Put the child to sleep and maintain active supervision.
  • If the child is already asleep when the service begins, enter the bedroom as required, with or without the parent/guardian present.
  • Only wake the child in an emergency or at the request of the parent/guardian.

 

During the Service, the Childminder is Not Authorized To:

Activities

  • Leave the resort premises with the child, even when accompanied by the parent/guardian.

Hygiene

  • Use hygiene products that have not been approved by the parent/guardian.

Food & Beverage

  • Provide any food or drink that has not been authorized by the parent/guardian.

Supervision

  • Remain in the accommodation without the child.
  • Leave the child unsupervised while the parent/guardian is absent.

Medication

  • Administer medication under normal circumstances.
  • The only exception applies to emergency medication, such as an EpiPen or asthma inhaler, provided the parent/guardian has clearly explained the administration procedure to the childminder before the service begins.

By booking the Raposinhos Child Care Service, parents and guardians acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
