Procedure in case of suspected COVID:

  • If any guest is with symptoms wearing a surgical mask and disposable gloves is mandatory;
  • If any guest has symptoms in the room, the guest is asked to remain in the room and notify the Reception by dialling number 9 on the phone of your villa;
  • The Family Concierge team at Reception will inform the Management and organize the delivery of the necessary Individual protection equipment;
  • Management will call the SNS24 line (808 24 24 24) who will evaluate the case and contact the Local Health Authority;
  • The guest may be asked to leave the resort to protect the team and other guests.

Adaptors Should you require an adaptor for any electrical appliances, please contact our Family Concierge. The power sockets in your room are 220v.

Air Conditioning Your house has air conditioning which is controlled by a remote control placed in each room and in the living room. Should you require any assistance please contact Reception. Please contact our Family Concierge if you require assistance via WhatsApp.

 Airport FARO International Airport is located at 16,5 Km from Martinhal Quinta. We recommend you to leave to the airport: European flights two hours prior to your flight departure. International flights three hours prior to your flight departure. For more information and instructions on waiting times we highly recommend to contact your airline in advance.

Arrival Laundry If you would like to have your traveling clothes laundered upon arrival, , simply place your items in the laundry bag provided (at the entrance) and contact. Family Concierge via WhatsApp to collect it. This service has a Fix price and will only be available on your arrival day; Please contact our Family Concierge via WhatsApp or by dialing 9 from the telephone of your villa for more details and how to proceed;

Baby Safety We have a limited stock of equipment available, such as stair gates, electric socket protectors, high chairs, baby bottle warmers and more. Please contact the Family Concierge should you require any of the above.

Bed Linen and Towels In order to reduce our environmental impact, the replacement of bed linen and towels is done every third day and when there is an arrival or departure of guests.

Breakfast Breakfast a la carte is available in our Pool Hangout. We also recommend take away or delivery in your room should be wish more privacy. For information regarding the menus please consult www.MyMartinhal.com. (Charges may apply).

Car Hire Should you wish to hire a car for all or part of your stay, please contact our Family Concierge via WhatsApp or by dialing nº9 from the phone in your Villa.

Check-In Check-in time is after 04:00 p.m. Early check-in is at the discretion of the hotel and is based on the availability of your villa. Please provide us your arrival time for a smooth process. To avoid concentrations at the Family Concierge we highly recommend to complete the pre-arrival online check in and that only a representative of the family may come to reception;

Check Out We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 a.m. If you wish to stay on and make use of the facilities for the rest of the day, we can open for you a Day Guest account for further purchases you may wish to make. Should you require an extended check out time, please contact our Family Concierge in advance (charges may apply). For your convenience, your account may be consulted via email and payment can be made online. Please contact the Family Concierge via WhatsApp for an online payment link. Always avoid concentrations at the Family Concierge.
Check out in person is not advisable, however if needed, only one person should go to the Reception.

Children Club “Raposinhos” means “little fox” and children here are encouraged to be the same – active and inquisitive. The Raposinhos kids club offers supervised childcare for children from 3 to 8 years old.

Cleaning Upon arrival you will notice a Clean & Safe sticker on your door to indicate that the room has been thoroughly disinfected and cleaned. The cleaning of your room or villa is done daily and only when the guests are not inside, between 09:00a.m. and 05h00p.m.  Please note that the bed linen will be replaced every 3 days of use. Should you require to have any other interval please make the request to our family concierge via WhatsApp or by dialing nº9 on the phone of your villa.

Concierge Our Family Concierge will be pleased to further help or advice you on any matter related to the hotel, location, activities, tours or any other aspect that can make your holiday even more enjoyable. Hairdryer A hairdryer is located in your Master Bed bathroom underneath the sink.

Internet Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the resort, please connect to Martinhal Quinta network (no login password is required). Should you have any difficulties with connecting, please contact our Family Concierge via WhatsApp or by dialing 9 from the telephone of your villa.

Key Card, Keys and entry Your key card provides access to your room. Please do not forget to take your key card with you when you leave your room. If you lose your key, please notify our Family Concierge immediately so we can block your lost key (Charges may apply).

Laundry A washing and drying machine is provided in your house, for your convenience. Washing powder or liquid is not provided. Several option can be provided in our O Mercado If you would like some laundry or ironing service during your stay, simply place your items in the laundry bag provided (in one of the wardrobes) and contact Family Concierge via WhatsApp to collect it. Laundry sent before 10:00 will be returned the following day before 19:00. An Express Service is available, and items received prior to 10:00 will be delivered the same day prior to 19:00. A surcharge of 50% will be applied. Please contact our Family Concierge via WhatsApp or by dialing 9 from the telephone of your villa.

Lost & Found All the found items are kept by the hotel for a 3 months period or if valuable, for 6 months. Please contact Family Concierge in case of any lost and found enquiry.

Luggage You can store your luggage free of charge during your stay. Please note that all luggage will be disinfected before entering the storage room. Martinhal Quinta cannot be made responsible for loss or damage to your belongings.

Mail Postage We are happy to post your letters and postcards if they are stamped.

Massage Treatments Should you wish to book a treatment in the comfort of your villa learn more about the wide range of treatments in MyMartinhal.com. This service is available from 10:00a.m. to 07:00 p.m. 24-hour Advance booking is highly recommended. For Schedules outside the above-mentioned availability please contact our Family Concierge (Charges may apply);

Personal Hygiene Items Clean & Safe personal disinfection kit is provided upon arrival for every family. At your disposal: Shampoo, shower gel, body cream, dental floss, Make-up remover discs, toilet bag, nail kit, cotton buds and a shower cap. If needed, you may ask the Reception for the following additional amenities: shaving kit, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste. To help us protect the environment, we kindly ask you to put empty amenities in the existing tray for replacement. Thank you for your support.

Pets Pets are not allowed in the Villas or Public Areas.

Prints & scanning We are happy to help with printing and scanning services, please send the files to Family Concierge (concierge.quinta@martinhal.com) with your instructions, or require collection of the documents in your villa.

Pillows As a standard your bed is made up with 2 synthetic foam pillows. Should you wish a different combination, please contact our Family Concierge.

Pool Towels With the purpose of reducing our environment impact, we are providing you with a set of beach & pool towels for your use during your stay. In case you would like to change them during your stay, please contact our Family Concierge to exchange a used towel for a fresh one.

Restaurant All menus are available in www.MyMartinhal.com and served as take-away or Home Delivery. (Charges apply). For service in restaurants, we follow strict Clean&Safe guidelines. All menus are digital for your reference. Kindly scan the QR code to access and place your order at the table. Printed menus are available upon request. Kindly ask the waiter.

Safes A safe is located in the wardrobe of your master bedroom. Please use this to keep your valuable items safe at all times. How to program and operate the safe:

  1. Press numbers (4 to 6) that you wish to have as your new user code. Confirm by pressing the “Lock” button.
  2. To open the safe door please press the insert your user code and press. The safe door will open.

Security Our premises are monitored by CCTV and have an Active Physically Monitoring. Please contact our staff immediately if you notice any dangerous or suspicious situations.

Sewing Kit & Service A sewing kit can be found in the amenities set. Sewing service is available. Prices: from 10€ onwards depending on the request. Please contact our Family Concierge for additional assistance.

Shopping Mercado Deli & Bake is our store where you may find a wide variety of take-away breakfast options, with freshly baked bread, croissants and pastries, coffees, teas and other high-quality deli items as well as a wide range of drinks. This is also the perfect place for your convenience shopping while on site;

Slippers Your personal beach slippers can be found in your wardrobe.

Smoking Smoking is not permitted inside the Villas and in the Playground area.

Swimming pool towels You may find pool towels next to the swimming pools.

In a bid to cut down on the environmental impact of laundering our towels, we will only change them once in three days. Should you need to have them changed earlier, please place the towels in the bath or shower and the housekeeping team will provide you with a clean set.
